Chamaecyparis Lawsoniana ‘Ivonne’

This slow-growing Lawson’s Cypress makes a bright change from the darker greens of other cultivars. Fern-like sprays of foliage emerge lemon-yellow, maturing to yellow-green in the summer before intensifying to gold when the weather turns colder. It forms a medium-sized, dense conifer with a columnar habit and good disease resistance. ‘Ivonne’ is excellent as a container specimen or stand alone feature, its eye-catching foliage illuminating the garden all year round. Tolerant of strong winds and pollution, it also makes a superb, dense, screening hedge. RHS Award of Garden Merit. Height: 8m (26ft). Spread: 1.8m (6ft).
