Nerine Bowdenii ‘Mister John’

Nerines have become an autumn essential in recent years, they are a must-have for adding the ‘designer’s touch’ to late season planting schemes. While the straight species N. Bowdenii is widely available we are pleased to offer Nerine ‘Mister John’, from the latest breeding programme in Holland, which brings a shocking magenta to the nerine colour pallete. With up to 10 lily-like blooms per stem, this new nerine really stands out from the crowd, providing vibrant colour when other blooms are scarce. The tall clean stems and long-lasting blooms make excellent cut flower subjects. Treat as a container specimen plant or set out in full sun in free draining border soil. Height: 60cm (24″).
